MEET BEN

DELIVERING AN A+ EDUCATION

Ben Blink is the proud graduate of public K-12 schools and believes every child deserves access to an outstanding public education.

As a current Osborn Governing Board member, Ben focuses on math and reading achievement and ensuring district resources support student success. Ben works to align the district's budget, staff time, and priorities around a single goal: ensuring every student succeeds

When he's not at Governing Board meetings, Ben consults for businesses working on infrastructure and transportation projects in Arizona. Before his consulting work, Ben served as a policy advisor and budget analyst in the Arizona Governor's Office. Ben holds a bachelor's degree from Carleton College and a master's degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Ben and his wife Lauren live in the Carnation Neighborhood with their dogs Sadie and Clementine.

Ben's Priorities

Osborn schools are filled with dedicated teachers, principals, and staff that deliver supportive and personalized education to our students each day. We will continue to raise the bar and be an example for what our students can achieve -- and what public schools can deliver.

Academic Excellence

Every student must graduate elementary school proficient in math and reading -- the foundations for lifelong success. Ben supports clear academic benchmarks, proven curricula, and data-informed instruction to ensure that every student reaches, or exceeds, grade-level standards.

Funding for Classrooms & Teachers

Our great schools start with great teachers. Ben will work to ensure that district funding prioritizes teachers, classrooms, and student support services. He believes school budgets should focus on what matters most: instruction and student learning.

Thriving Neighborhood Public Schools

Osborn schools strengthen our community. Ben supports welcoming campuses where students, teachers, and families work together to help every child succeed. Ben will continue to ensure that parents choose Osborn schools because of our world-class education and community.
